  23. I very much look forward to reading your book about the Pastons. I have heard of them but know very little about them which in a way makes it more interesting. I enjoy your books because I know that you do your research well and I can trust what I am reading, obviously being a novel with a few minor variations that do not alter the main facts. So, thank you for all your books and I can’t wait to read this one.

  24. I have loved all your books, but I was blown away by the last one as it was written as an epistolary novel, which seemed so apt in the way it made the characters more intimate. I thought it was a master stroke. Looking forward to the next…….

  51. Thank you for passing your love of history on to me. Until I read ‘The Queen’s Rival’ a few months ago (it was the design on the cover that drew me to the book!) I had never been interested in history, having had a very bad teacher in the early 1960’s Now having read all but one of your books (the last one is in my library) about our ‘Powerful Royal Ladies’ I am hooked, so cannot wait to read your latest book and the follow-ups about the ladies of the Paston family.

  52. I look forward to be captivated by your new book sometimes when the future looks a bit daunting it’s time to look back and immerse ourselves in history.

  53. Love historical fiction and have read all your books. The Paston family, I know nothing about, so would love to win a copy of your new book.

  56. I would love to read about the fascinating women of the Paston clan. I have a book from many years ago which was a compilation of all or most of their letters. Unfortunately I can’t get access to it due to being in a wheelchair. Maybe someday my husband can find it !

  57. Your books bring characters to life, as a teenager I read Jean Plaidy but am now hooked on your books
Great to have another author to follow
Winning your latest book would be a lovely end to a difficult week

  58. I have read a book about The Paston letters and found it hard going, so I am looking forward to your interpretation, which I am confident will be an interesting and easier read. Many thanks.

  59. In 2014 I was the Event coordinator of the town Kerteminde’ 600 years Jubilee of becoming a market Town in 1314 in Denmark.
The king was Eric of Pommern and the Queen,Phillipa, daughter of Henry IV.
It was so easy to fell in love with English history as my husband is born in England and we have a firm called Ladybells Antik (Danish spelling) and very often visit England to buy antiques and sell in Denmark ( ok before Corona). What I learned was the strength of the women not featuring in historic books.
Anne O’Brian, you have put spotlight on those women, and I thank you so much for that .
I would be honored to receive a signed copy of your book.
I wont be able to come to England in a while. Not only because of Corona bu especially because of my husbands grave cancer disease.
Whether I get lucky or not, I wish you all the best

  60. 🎉🎊Congratulations of the publication of the Royal Game! 🎉🎊 I would be delighted to receive a signed copy! I love your books – they are the perfect escape and always so well written.
